      FinTech Seminar Tokyo

      On 21 January 2016 Luxembourg for Finance, in partnership with the Japan Fintech Association and the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office Tokyo, held a seminar "Luxembourg as the Euro Zone's FinTech Hub: "Virtual Currencies" and FinTech Landscape in Europe" at Tokyo's Dots to discuss recent trends in financial technology with a special focus on virtual currencies.

      Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, opened the seminar by addressing major trends in the digitalisation of financial services and confirmed the support the government offers innovative technologies as well as entrepreneurship. Further presentations and testimonials were given by Nicolas Mackel (CEO, LFF), Nadia Manzari (Head of division at CSSF), Jean-Louis Schiltz (partner at Schiltz & Schiltz), Yuzo Kano (CEO at Bitflyer) and Alain Rodermann (founder & partner, Expon Capital).
